Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GOGO ENERGY LIMITED ("GoGoX Energy" or “Us”) collects, holds, processes, uses, protects, stores, shares and/or transfers (collectively “Process” or “Processing”) information and/or data provided by you, including but not limited to your personal data and information (“Data”) when you use the services offered by GoGoX Energy (our “Services”).

This Privacy Policy covers both "online" (e.g., web and mobile services) and "offline" (e.g., collection of information over the phone or in person) activities that are held, operated, provided and/or made available by GoGoX Energy. This Privacy Policy specifically addresses GoGoX Energy's obligations in respect of personal data privacy under the Relevant Laws.

BY USING OUR SERVICES AND AGREEING TO GIVE US YOUR DATA, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND GIVE US YOUR CONSENT TO PROCESS YOUR DATA.

We may update or change this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect our latest privacy policies and practices as we deem fit pursuant to, inter alia, the prevailing relevant legislation and the changing business circumstances. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting of the revised Privacy Policy. The revised Privacy Policy will then supersede and prevail over the original Privacy Policy. The purposes for our Processing of Data include:

2. to provide our Services to you, including ensuring the day-to-day operations of our Services, and processing any payments;
3. to operate, protect, improve and optimize all the features of the Services; to improve and customise the user experiences and usage trends of the Services, and to develop new services, features and functionality;
4. to notify you about changes to the Platform or respond to any communication and/or request from you;
5. to monitor the use of the Services;
6. to conducting credit checks;
7. to collect debts from you or those who act as guarantors for you;
8. to comply with disclosure obligations as required by Relevant Laws;
9. providing marketing and/or cross-marketing to you any products or services (including products and services of GoGoX Energy, its holding company, fellow subsidiaries, subsidiaries, affiliates and its business partners) which GoGoX Energy believes may be of interest to its customers;
10. to compile aggregate statistics about you and to analyse the Services usage; and
11. to design services or products suitable for use.
GoGoX Energy will generally only permit our duly authorised staff to access the Data, and we will only release such Data to the following parties:
1. Affiliates of GoGoX Energy; and
2. any agent, contractor or service provider who provides administrative, telecommunications, debt collection, credit reference, advertising, market research, computer, billing, transfer or other services to GoGoX Energy in connection with the operation of its business;
3. business associates, for the purpose of informing the customer of products or services (including those of Tall and its business associates) which Tall believes may be of interest to the customer;
4. any other person or organization under a duty of confidentiality to GoGoX Energy and who has undertaken to keep such information confidential; and
5. any relevant public authorities or law enforcement agencies, including, for example, where we suspect you have committed an offence, where we suspect existence of fraud or where required by applicable law, regulation or legal proceedings.
We intend to and may from time to time make telephone calls to you or send you information directly by mail, fax, email or any other means of communication (including but not limited to the use of WhatsApp) based on the Data in order to offer or advertise the availability of goods, facilities or services or to solicit donations or contributions for charitable, cultural, philanthropic, recreational, political or other purposes (“Direct Marketing”). If you do not wish to receive Direct Marketing, you must notify GoGoX Energy’s Data Protection Officer in writing in accordance with section 9 of this Privacy Policy.
In accordance with Relevant Laws, GoGoX Energy has the right to charge a reasonable fee for any request for access to or correction of data and you will be required to pay such fee.
Your Data will not be kept longer than is necessary for the purposes of GoGoX Energy's business or as required by law.
GoGoX Energy reserves the right to request further information from you from time to time for the purposes set out in section 2 of this Privacy Policy.
GoGoX Energy will only use your Data for the purposes set out in section 2 and section 3 of this Privacy Policy; GoGoX Energy will use its best endeavors to protect your Data against unauthorized or accidental access, processing or erasure.
All requests for access to or correction of Data or for information regarding the types, policies and practices for enquiring about the Data held by GoGoX Energy should be addressed in writing to GoGoX Energy’s Data Protection Officer at GOGO ENERGY LIMITED, P.O. Box No. 62475, Kwun Tong Post Office.

Definitions:

“Relevant Laws” means any and all applicable laws and regulations in the Region from time to time relevant to your use of the Services;

“Region” means the region in which you access, or use the Services.
